The women's micro credit scheme is a scheme where the women in Crater Mountain are assisted to do various income generating activities. The women form small groups where they register the group with some amount of money.
A minimum amount of this money is then borrowed by each group and they are given a time to pay back that money with a little interest. In doing so the women are able to make some money which they can use to sustain their families to meet such needs like school fees, medical treatment etc.
