The Conservation Education program not only focuses on teacher trainings; but also acknowledges the need for teachers in terms of up to date information and teaching resources through the inception of Conservation Education Resource Center (CERC). The center has initially been established at RCF office in Goroka, the capital of Eastern Highlands province to cater for teachers and their school groups. Due to expansion of the teacher and tertiary training program to Simbu, Western Highlands and Morobe provinces; there are three provincial CERCs were set up to service teachers in those provinces.

The CERC has a diverse collection of environmentally based materials including books, videos, magazines and student activity books. It is also much more than a library. Teachers are encouraged to bring their children to the center for excursion, activities, talks, video show etc.. to enhance their learning.
